Ginger’s dad passed away and the only family he had from out-
of-state was getting ready to take Ginger to the shelter when
one of our volunteers stepped in and is fostering Ginger right
now.  Ginger is 8 years old, spayed female Pomeranian mix.
She is a bit overweight at 30 lbs and is on a healthy diet now
and getting lots of exercise.  Ginger is very good with other
dogs and cats, with a bit of a maternal instinct.  Not sure how
she is with children but does well at dog parks. Suggest
children are 8 years or older.  She is up to date with rabies
and getting her other vaccinations and heartworm prevention
this week. She is missing a front tooth, giving her an extra
adorable face.  She has a very healthy coat, gums and skin.
Ginger loves to be brushed, snuggled, riding in cars and going
to the river.  She is very vibrant, playful and a people pleaser.

Christmas is a beautiful female, 2 ½ yr old, longhair, Calico.  She is spayed, and up to date
on all shots. She is litter box trained, an indoor/outdoor cat.  It’s hard to tell if Christmas
would do well with other pets, because at this point, she is fairly stressed and skittish.
Christmas has had a difficult time lately.  Her guardian was very ill and died and Christmas
was left alone.  She very much needs a loving home and some security and stability. She is
currently at a foster home but needs a forever home.
